CITY COUNCIL RACES

Meet the candidates of 3rd District from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Fallbrook Mall, 6507 Fallbrook Ave., Canoga Park.

Ryan Snyder, an urban planner and 5th District candidate, speaks at 1 p.m. today at a meeting of Seniors for Action, Van Nuys Senior Center, 5040 Van Nuys Blvd. Snyder will discuss issues such as rent control, new affordable housing, transportation, health care and crime. He has received the endorsement of Martha Fitzgerald, chairwoman of the Congress of California Seniors.

The Lake View Terrace Homeowners Assn. will sponsor a 7th District forum at 7:30 p.m. today at the Lake View Terrace Recreational Center, 11075 Foothill Blvd.

13th District candidates forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the Women’s Club of Hollywood, 1749 N. La Brea Ave.
