College Signings : Two Women Gymnasts to Attend Fullerton

Stacy Fowlkes and Mindy Meissner have signed letters of intent to compete for Cal State Fullerton women's gymnastics team.

Fowlkes, who attends Dobson High School in Arizona, was runner-up in the all-around at this year's Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Meissner, who attends Oak Hill High School in Cincinnati, was the all-around winner at the Buckeye Classic last year.

Shortstop Mark Wasikowski of Los Alamitos High School has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Hawaii in the fall.

Wasikowski, a three-year starter at Los Alamitos, visited UCLA and Nevada Reno before signing with Hawaii. He plans to major in business.

Duane Cameron of Marina High School signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Pepperdine University, school officials said Monday.

Cameron is a 6-foot-5 outside hitter.
