Weekend TV : Networks Pull Out Their Big Brooms for First Sunday-Night Rating Sweeps

The first weekend of the May ratings sweeps provides a Sunday night network showdown of superhuman proportions.

NBC dips into ABC's bag of old shows, reuniting Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner in "Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman," 9 p.m. (4)(36)(39).

ABC counters with James Woods and JoBeth Williams in "My Name Is Bill W.," a new "Hallmark Hall of Fame" movie that chronicles the birth of Alcoholics Anonymous, (7)(3)(10)(42).

And not to be outswept, CBS (2)(8) launches the first installment of "Guts and Glory: The Rise and Fall of Oliver North." David Keith stars in the miniseries, which concludes Tuesday.

Today, meanwhile, KTTV Channel 11 is paying tribute to the late Lucille Ball with a 10-hour "I Love Lucy" marathon without commercials, beginning at 8 a.m.
