City Central League

Crawford 16, Lincoln 1--The fifth-ranked Colts collected 20 hits at home and A.J. Leighton (7-2) went the distance for the victory. Joe McWilliams was three for three with three RBIs, Manny Gagliano was two for four and scored three runs and Scott Hill had a home run for Crawford (19-3, 11-0). Lincoln is 3-16 and 1-10.

San Diego 8, Christian 5--Kian Sly hit a bases-loaded, two-run single in the top of the seventh to break a 5-5 tie for San Diego (9-10-1, 4-7). Brian Baird was three for four and winning pitcher Claudio Moreno was two for four with a home run and two RBIs for San Diego. Merv Hartman was three for three for Christian (6-12, 4-7).

City Eastern League

Madison 9, Point Loma 1--Matt Lee struck out nine and allowed three hits to lead Madison at home. Frank Fontenot was two for four with three RBIs for Madison (16-6, 8-3).

City Western League

Mission Bay 6, Kearny 1--Tony Lennan got his ninth victory in 10 decisions to lead No. 3 Mission Bay (9-1, 18-3) at home. Mike McKesson was two for three with two RBIs for Mission Bay, which broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the fourth. Kearny is 4-17, 2-8.

Clairemont 17, University City 4--Antoine Henry went two for five with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored for Clairemont (11-10, 7-4). Teammate Jesus Jauregui went two for five, hitting a double and scoring a run. University City dropped to 6-14, 4-6.

Patrick Henry 11, Serra 7--Brian Simmons went three for four with a double and four RBIs for Patrick Henry (15-9, 8-3). Patrick Henry scored four runs in the seventh, breaking a 7-7 tie. Serra dropped to 6-15, 2-9.

Nonleague

Mt. Miguel 6, Valhalla 4--Jim Hoffman hit a two-run homer in the top of the seventh to snap a 4-4 tie. Hoffman also had a two-run homer in the first. Valhalla is 11-11-1. Doug Kemp added a two-run homer for the Matadors (3-19).

El Capitan 12, Grossmont 8--With eight runs in the second inning, El Capitan jumped to a 12-1 lead before Grossmont (12-7-1, 2-1) rallied for seven runs in the seventh. Leadoff hitter Sid Molero was three for three with a home run, two walks and two runs, and Mike Farrell hit a three-run homer for the Vaqueros (15-6, 4-1).

Santana 7, Granite Hills 3--Kyle Sebach and Lance McClure each hit solo home runs for Santana (12-7-1). Paul Newark (6-4) was the winner. Granite Hills dropped to 13-9.
