Riverside College Hires Schermerhorn
Bob Schermerhorn, who played at Orange Coast College and was an assistant at UC Irvine, has been hired as the men’s basketball coach at Riverside College.

He was the head coach at Southern Utah for four seasons (1983-86) before going to Arizona State. He was an assistant at Irvine from 1981-83. He was also the head coach at Canyon High School (1974-78) and Chaffey College (1979-80).
Schermerhorn, 45, played at OCC in 1967-68. The 1968 team won the Eastern Conference. He was also an assistant to Herb Livsey at OCC from 1969 to 1972.
