Estancia’s Maki Tops Junior Golf Qualifying
Austin Maki of Estancia High School shot rounds of 68-70 for a 138 at Rancho Bernardo Golf Club Monday to lead four golfers who qualified for the 1989 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, July 25-29 at Singing Hills Country Club in El Cajon.
Maki is four shots in front of Dan Dalton of Marina High School, Chris Riley of San Diego and Todd Dempsey of Rancho Santa Fe.
