CSUN Softball Team Signs Top Recruit

Pam Barr, a standout pitcher at Diamond Bar High, has signed a letter of intent to attend Cal State Northridge in the fall, Lady Matador softball Coach Gary Torgeson announced Friday.

Barr twice was voted most valuable player in the Sierra League and was named San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year as a senior. The four-time All-Sierra League selection batted .447 and had an earned-run average of 0.21 in her career at Diamond Bar.
