ON THE SIDELINES : Snowfall Delays Ski Competition

LAS LENAS, Argentina —
The opening event of the Women’s 1990 World Cup ski season was postponed today because of heavy snowfall.
The downhill was rescheduled Tuesday, with the super-G to follow Wednesday. Both events had been moved up several days because warm weather was melting a thin snow base.
