Niizeki Beats Fujiki in Nikkei Golf Playoff

NIRAYAMAMACHI, Japan —
Yoshimi Niizeki beat Saburo Fujiki on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday and won the $429,000 Nikkei Cup golf tournament.
In the playoff, Niizeki made a par on the 559-yard, par-5 18th hole to edge Fujiki.
