Scott Mellanby of the Philadelphia Flyers was in stable condition in a hospital in Toronto after suffering facial and neck cuts in a weekend brawl at a central Ontario resort. He will be out for about three months.
Mellanby, a right wing, was cut by broken glass during the fight.
