SCC’s Adams Takes Job With UC Irvine

Doug Adams, who resigned as Southern California College baseball coach two weeks ago, has accepted a volunteer coaching position with the UC Irvine baseball team.

“It’s a great opportunity to coach at the Division I level without uprooting my family,” Adams said.

Adams, 38, was 30-21 last season at SCC, finishing second in the Golden State Athletic Conference. In his two years at SCC, Adams’ record was 54-48.
