Seattle Seahawks linebacker Brian Bosworth, who injured his right shoulder Sunday while making an arm tackle, was placed on injured reserve.
Bosworth won’t be eligible to return to action until Nov. 5, when the Seahawks are in Kansas City to play the Chiefs.
“He’s very down,” Seahawk president Tom Flores said. “He was planning and we were planning on him making a real contribution this season.”
Flores said Seahawk doctors would let the injury “calm down” before deciding to see if Bosworth needs arthroscopic surgery.
