Santa Ana : Memorial Will Be Held Friday for Father Clavel

A memorial Mass will be held Friday for Archbishop Tomas A. Clavel at St. Anne’s Church in Santa Ana on the first anniversary of his death, officials for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange announced.
A resident of Santa Ana, Clavel was known for his work among the county’s poor and served as the vicar to Latinos in the county.
The 7 p.m. service will be conducted by Bishop Norman McFarland of the Diocese of Orange. St. Anne’s is at 1344 S. Main St., Santa Ana.
