Eric Dickerson intends to fulfill his contract with the Indianapolis Colts but says he may retire when it expires after the 1990 season.
“Football is a sport that takes a lot out of you mentally and physically,” Dickerson said on a television talk show. “After this season, I have one year left. I’ll play that for sure. But even if they offered me a new contract, I don’t think I’d sign it right now.”
