Cat Mutilations

Share

North Tustin has been the subject of a hype in the last year about cat mutilations. The media was quick to address the issue and connect it with satanic worship.

In the past few weeks there has been an encounter between a resident and a pack of coyotes. Several other sightings have been reported.

Director of Animal Control Jack Edwards believes that coyotes are the main cause of the mutilations and is working to track and remove them.

Regardless of this information, residents and reporters literally have been in storm drains looking for evidence of satanic cat mutilators. The media and residents need to call off the witch hunt and look at the evidence. Is the search for satanic cat killers more exciting than tracking coyotes before dawn?

Fanatic sensationalism and media hype have delayed solving our problem. Hopefully, after the cat mutilations stop and the North Tustin community feels more secure, the important question of why residents have been so reluctant to see the evidence can be addressed.
