New Beginning for Jillian: NBC will preview Ann Jillian’s new comedy series Nov. 30 at 8:30 p.m. in the half-hour following the network’s No. 1-rated “The Cosby Show.” Jillian’s regular time slot will be Sundays at 8 p.m. starting Dec. 3. In the new show, Jillian stars as a recent New York widow who seeks a new beginning in California with her teen-age daughter (Lisa Rieffel). “Sister Kate,” which had that Sunday time period, will be moved to 8:30 p.m., and “My Two Dads” will move from 8:30 p.m. Sundays to Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m., replacing the recently canceled “Nutt House.”
