Escondido
An Escondido mental health facility caught fire Thursday, causing $100,000 damage but no injuries, a fire official said.
Firefighters found the Pegasus North building, in the 400 block of Vermont Avenue West, engulfed in flames that later spread to the roof.
The cause of the 10:21 p.m. blaze was undetermined, and an investigation is under way.
