Alonzo Mourning, starting center for the Georgetown University basketball team, testified that he visited the homes of Rayful Edmond III, a reputed drug kingpin, and co-defendant Jerry Millington, who is charged with heading one of the largest cocaine rings in the nation’s capital.

“I didn’t do anything; we just talked,” said Mourning, who was called as a character witness.

Mourning said he saw and spoke with Edmond on the Georgetown campus in early 1989, then halted his friendship with the alleged drug dealer.
