Armed Woman Shot by S.D. Police
An armed unidentified woman was shot twice in the leg by a San Diego police officer Thursday, a spokesman said.
Police responded to a 6:50 p.m. call at 3372 31st St. of a man and woman fighting. When the officers arrived, they were confronted by a woman armed with a shotgun. An officer fired twice, striking her in the leg. She was taken to Mercy hospital for treatment, where she was listed in critical but stable condition.
