Antelope Valley 74, St. Genevieve 47--Guard Chris Walters, who has accepted a scholarship to Texas-El Paso, scored 20 points to lead the Antelopes. Dominic Muller scored 17 for St. Genevieve.

Crescenta Valley 60, Montebello 50--Center Paul Matijasevic scored 28 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, both game highs, to lead the Falcons. Teammate Lamar Breeding added 15 points.

La Canada 65, Saugus 51--Jeff Lord and Louie Nieto combined for 38 points to lead La Canada. Lord, a junior guard, had 20 points and Nieto added 18. Aaron Volpe led Saugus with 14 points.

BURBANK-HOOVER TOURNAMENT

Burroughs 89, St. Francis 71--Ray Velasquez, a transfer from Hoover, played his first game for his new team in his old gym. Velasquez scored a game-high 36 points to lead Burroughs to a first-round victory.

NONLEAGUE

North Hollywood 81, Canoga Park 38--Dana Jones scored 18 points, pulled down 20 rebounds, had seven assists and blocked seven shots in just three quarters to lead the rout at Canoga Park. Robert Hill scored 11 off the bench, and forward Eric Jackson added 10 for North Hollywood.

Chatsworth 37, Hollywood 34--Sophomore guard Eric Isaac had eight assists and scored a team-high 11 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, as the Chancellors won at home.

Van Nuys 60, Sherman Oaks CES 48--The Wolves, leading by two early in the fourth quarter, scored seven unanswered points to seal the victory. Cleve McWright scored 21 points and had 15 rebounds for Sherman Oaks CES.

El Camino Real 70, Birmingham 44--Alan Chenen scored 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead El Camino Real at home. Scott Huse added 12 rebounds for the Conquistadores.

Crespi 78, Calabasas 65----Rasaan Hall scored 19 points to lead visiting Crespi.

Grant 56, University 53-- Grant guard Keith Weinstein scored 19 points, including three three-pointers, and forward Billy May and added 14 off the bench. JoJo Halberstadt had seven assists.

Westlake 74, Agoura 70--Westlake scored the final five points to pull out the win at Agoura. John Vanspyk’s basket with 48 seconds left gave the Warriors the lead for good.

GIRLS

Reseda 46, Westchester 32--Denisha Jordan scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added five assists as the Regents won.

San Fernando 45, Garfield 38--Christine Garcia scored 12 points for San Fernando (1-1) and forward Kristie Flukers had a game-high 13 points and 19 rebounds.
