In other Costa Mesa-Newport tournament games:

Newport Harbor 96, John Glenn 50--Justin McIntee had 25 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Sailors at Newport Harbor. By winning, the Sailors advanced to the consolation semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Costa Mesa High School against the winner of La Quinta-Costa Mesa.

In the Orange Lutheran tournament:

Laguna Beach 73, Villa Park 53--Josh Borella scored 17 points and John Trevino 14 to lead Laguna Beach (2-0) in a championship semifinal game at Orange Lutheran High School. The Artists led, 15-14, at the end of the first quarter then outscored the Spartans, 14-3, to take a 29-17 halftime lead. Chris Kirby scored 20 points for Villa Park (1-1).

Orange Lutheran 62, Anaheim 44--Daryl Cole scored 14 points for host Orange Lutheran (2-0) in a championship semifinal game. The Lancers led, 14-11, at the end of the first quarter then outscored the Colonists (1-1), 16-6, to take a 30-16 halftime lead. Kent Dowding scored 11 points for Orange Lutheran.

Santiago 54, Orange 45--Jamal Nuristani 13 and Sean Condon scored 10 to lead Santiago into Monday’s consolation championship game. Carlos Duran scored 10 for Orange.

Southern California Christian 53, Miraleste 51--Shawn Wiltshire scored two of his game-high 23 points on a jump shot with five seconds remaining to lead the Vanguards in the consolation semifinals.

In nonleague games:

Mission Viejo 54, Marina 45--Greg Amaya scored 15 points and Eric Cramer 14 for Mission Viejo at Marina. Sean Haselrig scored 17 points for Marina (1-1), which was playing its second consecutive game without 6-foot-11 center Cherokee Parks, who has the flu.

St. Margaret’s 78, Buckley 60--Ryan Westrendorf scored 31 points and Dann Campaigne 23 to lead host St. Margaret’s (2-0).

San Clemente 66, Magnolia 53--Jason Dunahee scored 21 points and had seven rebounds and Todd Anderson had 16 points for the host Tritons.

Servite 68, Westminster 49--Paul Stapleton and Adam Anderson each scored 11 points to lead host Servite (1-1). The Friars got off to a fast start and led 17-6 at the end of the first quarter.

Troy 66, Esperanza 61--Mike Abbott scored 22 points to lead host Troy. Jim Falletta and Don Ploghaus each had eight rebounds for the Warriors, who rallied from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter to take a seven-point lead.
