After talking with Denver Nuggets co-owner Peter Bynoe, forward Alex English has softened his demand to be traded.
English, who last week went public with a desire to escape the acerbic style of Denver Coach Doug Moe, said after meeting with Bynoe in Orlando, Fla., that he is willing to at least discuss the possibility of remaining with the team for the rest of the season.
“I told (Bynoe) that we’d talk again next week, when we’re back in Denver,” English said. “I did express that Denver is a place I love dearly. I really enjoy living there, and it’s become a part of my life.”
English said he plans to meet with Bynoe and Moe in the near future.
