Jagger to Marry Longtime Girlfriend, She Announces

Texas model Jerry Hall said today that she and her longtime boyfriend, Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, have finally decided to get married.

No date has been set as Jagger is currently working in the Caribbean.

She told reporters: “For the first time, we both think marriage is a good thing but at the moment we are at the opposite ends of the world.”

The couple, who have two children, have lived together for more than 10 years.

Hall, 33, said the wedding would have to take a back seat to her latest role in a theatrical revival of the 1955 classic “Bus Stop,” in which she plays the part made famous by Marilyn Monroe in the film of the same name.

“At the moment, the next big thing for me is my West End stage debut, and that is what I am really excited about,” she said.

Hall said her stage costume will be very revealing.

“Oh, honey, it’s much smaller than this,” she said, touching the crimson velvet of the low-cut skintight dress she was wearing.
