SAN DIEGO —
Michael Best scored 18 of his 24 points in the second half as San Diego State pulled away for a 78-62 victory over New Mexico in a Western Athletic Conference game Thursday night.
San Diego State is 11-7 overall and 3-2 in the WAC. New Mexico is 9-8 and 1-4.
