Paula Abdul Home Is Burglarized
American Music Awards winner Paula Abdul went home Tuesday morning to find she had lost about $40,000 worth of property in a burglary of her Studio City home, Los Angeles police said.
Abdul returned home about 1 a.m. after attending the Shrine Auditorium ceremonies and discovered jewelry and other items missing, police said. No arrests have been made. Detectives have not determined whether the break-in was the work of someone who knew the pop singer would be at the show.
