The B.C. Lions have signed former University of Oklahoma quarterback Jamelle Holieway.
Holieway ran the wishbone offence for Oklahoma, but Lions President Joe Kapp said Holieway will line up at wide receiver for B.C.
Holieway injured his knee in the penultimate game of the 1987 season and missed his entire senior year. The 5-10, 185-pound quarterback led the Sooners in rushing, passing and total offense as a junior.
Holieway, 22, did not play last year.
