Ganesha High Student Named Sea Cadet of Year by Navy League

A senior at Ganesha High School in the Pomona Unified School District has been named the regional Sea Cadet of the Year by the Navy League of the Pacific Southwest Region.
John C. Babilius, a petty officer first class, received a $100 check at the Navy League’s quarterly meeting in January.
The Sea Cadet Corps, a program for people ages 11 to 17, prepares cadets for entry into the Navy. Babilius plans to attend San Diego State University to study naval science and business administration.
