James (Buster) Douglas, who defeated world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in Tokyo on Sunday, will be a guest on “Late Night With David Letterman” tonight. The fight will be replayed on HBO Friday starting at 9:30 p.m., a one-time-only deal that will also include interviews with Douglas and Tyson to be taped Thursday in New York. . . . Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent Peter Arnett has been named the new Jerusalem correspondent for CNN. Arnett won a Pulitzer for his coverage of the Vietnam War for the Associated Press. . . . Edie Magnus, who left ABC News to become an anchor on “USA Today: The Television Show,” is pondering offers from both her alma mater and CBS News. If she returns to ABC, word is she’d be corresponding out of Los Angeles.
