Sen. Bergeson
Thank you for your article on state Sen. Marian Bergeson (R-Newport Beach). Now I know who I will not vote for--although I have voted for Mrs. Bergeson in all her previous elections. (Bergeson is running for lieutenant governor.)
I feel very strongly about the issue of abortion--we must preserve a woman’s right to choose a safe, legal abortion if she feels it is the right choice for her.
I will not vote for any candidate who opposes the right to choose. This may mean that I will vote for Democrats for the first time in my life!
