Edward Parker of Houston retained his World Boxing Assn. America’s featherweight title, winning a unanimous 12-round decision over Refugio Rojas of Huntington Park at the Forum.
Parker (20-3-2) knocked Rojas (32-16-1) down in the second round and again in the fourth. Rojas seemed to recover in the middle rounds but was knocked down again with 20 seconds to go in the 10th.
