STAR SEARCH: With all the celebrities in town for the Grammy’s, it was hardly surprising to see all-star jam sessions popping up all over town. Judging from the buzz around town, the hottest gig was put together by producer-director Ken Ehrlich (the wizard who does the Grammy broadcast) for the next installment of his “Coast to Coast” Showtime program, which will begin airing April 21. Taped at the China Club the night after the Grammy’s, the jam featured a host of stellar turns, including B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt dueting on “Every Day I Have the Blues,” Rickie Lee Jones doing “Love is Going to Leave,” Lou Reed performing “Dirty Boulevard,” Sting played bass with Herbie Hancock on “Chameleon,” Bruce Hornsby handling a gospel-style rendition of “The Mighty Quinn” and a SRO-jam of “Let the Good Times Roll,” featuring most of the above crooning with such big-screen celebs as Michael J. Fox, Michael Keaton and “Cheers” Woody Harrelson. (In the audience, obviously too shy or exhausted to join in, were the likes of Bette Midler, Don Henley and Mickey Rourke.)
