1989 ALL-STARS : South Coast All-Star Teams

Ed O’Bannon, Artesia High’s All-American center, made The Times’ All-South Coast boys team for the third consecutive year.

CIF Southern Section champion Poly High of Long Beach and Lakewood, the Moore League runner-up to Poly, each placed two players on the team.

The All-South Coast girls team was dominated by Lynwood, which placed three players.

Lakewood had two representatives.

The 1990 All-South Coast teams:
