A 47-year-old man died Wednesday after being shot in the thigh by his girlfriend during an argument in their Southeast San Diego home, police said.
The victim bled to death at the scene in the 2800 block of Ocean View Boulevard, said Sgt. Jim Duncan. Police found the body after responding to a call at 12:45 p.m. of a shooting at the residence.
The name of the victim was being held pending notification of relatives, a coroner’s deputy said.
Maria Perez, 52, was arrested and is being held at County Jail at Las Colinas on suspicion of murder.
