Damien High School Open House Planned

The dedication ceremony and open house for a 13,000-square-foot addition to the Damien High School campus will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the campus, 1124 Bonita Ave., La Verne.
The two-story combination classroom-office building features science and computer labs, classrooms, office space, and a chapel and conference room.
The facility was built with $1.2 million in pledges and gifts from parents and alumni and a loan from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
The goal of the school’s Tradition Continues Campaign is to raise $2.3 million for added library space, faculty endowments, a swimming pool, tennis courts and physical improvements to the campus.
