Woman Shot to Death at Home; Husband Held
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after his wife was found shot to death in the couple’s home in an affluent Topanga Canyon neighborhood, authorities said Tuesday.
Grace Lang, 46, was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in the family’s Colina Drive residence shortly before midnight Tuesday, Deputy Dean Scoville said. David Lang surrendered to sheriff’s deputies without incident a few minutes later.
Authorities said the couple argued and David Lang armed himself with a gun and allegedly shot his wife. Deputies recovered a handgun from the home.
The couple’s 15-year-old daughter was home but did not witness the shooting.
Lang was booked at the Malibu sheriff’s station on suspicion of murder and held without bail , Scoville said.
