Craig Stadler shot an 11-under-par 61 Sunday to break the course record and win the $650,000 Scandinavian Open.

Stadler cut three strokes off the course record, set in 1976 by American Bill Garrett at the 6,747-yard par 72 course at Drottningholm Country Club. He also equaled the tournament record of 268, set by Ronan Rafferty of Northern Ireland last year.

Craig Parry of Australia was second at 272 after shooting a 67. Rafferty was third at 273 with a 67.

“I was hitting the ball very well, which I hadn’t been doing for the last three years. My putting was also very good,” Stadler said.
