WASHINGTON —
ABC News President Roone Arledge has announced that David Brinkley, moderator of “This Week With David Brinkley,” has signed a new contract and “will finish out his career with the network.” Brinkley has recently met with NBC News to discuss hosting “Meet the Press.” Brinkley will be 70 on July 10.
