Pasadena : Project Receives Extension

Share

The $67-million One Colorado Project, which received a one-year extension last June to secure all construction permits and financing, was granted another 90-day extension to Sept. 30.

The Board of Directors approved the extension Tuesday after learning that developer Douglas Stitzel expected minor delays to arise from revisions to paper work already submitted to the city.

The 9-year-old project has been plagued by delays since it was first proposed in Old Pasadena for the area bounded by Colorado Boulevard, DeLacey Avenue, Fair Oaks Avenue and Union Street. Stitzel, the newest developer, has made more progress than his predecessors. He held a groundbreaking ceremony in March and admitted a new partner, Trela Pasadena Inc., a Japanese firm, in April.
