Green Thumb Entry Runs 1-2 in Feature at Hollywood Park
A heavily-favored Green Thumb Farm entry of Flirty and Past Remembered made it look easy by running one-two in the $39,000 grass allowance feature Thursday at Hollywood Park.
Although both four-year old fillies were owned by Green Thumb Farm, the winner Flirty was trained by Edwin Gregson and ridden by Gary Stevens. Past Remembered is trained by J. ‘Paco’ Gonzalez and was ridden by Patrick Valenzuela.
Flirty led from start to finish in the mile and sixteenth test, covering the distance in 1:40 2/5 to win by a neck over fast-closing Past Remembered.
