SOUTHLAND : Small Quake Hits Los Angeles

A magnitude 2.3 earthquake occurred southwest of downtown today, seismologists reported. The quake struck at 12:59 p.m. and was centered four miles east of Culver City, said Robert Finn, spokesman for California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
