Much as I got a break when the third horse in my losing triple scratched Sunday, SURELOCK’s account has been credited with $40 because of his $20 exacta box in Sunday’s second race. Fortunately for the computer, there is no exacta wagering in the second race. Oh well, SURELOCK is only inhuman.

The computer will pass on today’s turf race because only one of the entrants has run on grass. Instead, the bet will be a $20 exacta box on Golden Voyager and Sports View in the eighth race.
