Woman Killed, 2 Men Hurt in Knife Attack at Triplex
An 18-year-old woman was killed and two men were wounded in a knife attack Tuesday at the Temple City triplex where all three lived, sheriff’s deputies said.
Investigators had not determined a motive for the stabbings and had made no arrests.
Officers were called about 4 a.m. to the residence on Doreen Avenue. Claudia Veronica Farias, who lived in the rear unit, was found dead from multiple knife wounds to her chest, said Deputy Mary Landreth.
Her grandfather, Maximiliano Romero, 67, who lived in the same unit, was wounded in the attack and taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, where he was in good condition.
A 27-year-old man who lived in the middle unit of the building was also wounded.
