CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SANTA BARBARA : No Damage, Injuries in Minor Temblor

A minor earthquake rolled through Santa Barbara, but no damage or injuries were reported, authorities said. The magnitude 3.0 temblor was centered six miles southeast of Santa Barbara, a Caltech spokesman said in Pasadena. “We’ve had a few calls from people who said they felt a shake and heard some noises,” a Santa Barbara police and fire dispatcher said.
