CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SACRAMENTO : Lotto Jackpot May Reach $40 Million

No ticket had all six winning numbers picked in the latest California Lottery “Lotto 6-53” game, leaving the $31.9-million jackpot unclaimed, lottery officials said. They said the jackpot will roll over to an estimated $40 million in Saturday night’s drawing. The numbers were: 2, 26, 27, 30, 46, 52, and the bonus number, 38. One ticket bought in Santa Barbara had five of six numbers plus the bonus number, winning $936,031.
