Another Go for Malden: Actor Karl Malden has been re-elected president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences by the organization’s board of governors. Malden is beginning his seventh year as a member of the academy board and his second term at the helm. “I am grateful to the board for the confidence they’ve placed in me,” Malden said.
