BRIELLE, N.J. — Vicki Goetze and Sandrine Mendiburu easily won their semifinal matches today to advance to the final of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship at Manasquan River Golf Club.
Goetze, 17, of Hull, Ga., who was the qualifying medalist, advanced with a 5 and 3 win over Christine Garrett, of Bloomington, Ill.
France’s Mendiburu, also 17, scored a 4 and 3 win over Kellee Booth, of Coto de Caza.
