PHOENIX —
After 17 seasons, Stan Richards has announced his retirement as the public address announcer for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns.
Richards, who turns 60 next month, told the Phoenix Gazette in today’s editions that he will continue to work for the Suns and his first duty will be to train a new PA announcer.
