THE SIDELINES : Gartner Signs With Rangers

NEW YORK — Right wing Mike Gartner, who has scored 30 or more goals in 11 consecutive seasons, has signed with the New York Rangers for the 1990-91 NHL season.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Gartner, 30, a five-time All-Star, was obtained by the Rangers from the Minnesota North Stars on March 6 for Ulf Dahlen, a 1990 draft choice and future considerations.
