One man was killed and two youths were wounded early Monday as they left a South Los Angeles home in what police believe was a gang-related shooting, sheriff’s deputies said.

Police said all three victims--who are believed to be gang members--were leaving a house in the 8700 block of Fir Avenue at 4:30 a.m. when a rival gang member opened fire. A 25-year-old was shot twice in the chest and died at the scene. His name had not been released late Monday, pending notification of relatives.

The other two victims, both juveniles, were also shot in the chest. They were taken to Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center, where one was in critical condition and the other in stable condition Monday afternoon.
