After a sluggish first quarter, Dana Hills High School dominated Fountain Valley en route to a 27-6 victory Friday night at Spencer Stadium.

The Dolphins got two rushing touchdowns in both the second and fourth quarters, and outgained the Barons in total offense, 267-75, in the final three quarters. Fountain Valley scored on the game’s first possession on quarterback Marcos Diaz’s four-yard touchdown pass to David Dardis. From that point, however, Dana Hills controlled the game.

Marcus Jenkins put the Dolphins on the board with a 26-yard touchdown run with 3:52 left to play in the first half, and John Ashley’s extra point gave Dana Hills the lead for good.
